Only 1.7% of students taking the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-2023 have chosen the Odia language to be their medium of instruction this year, down from 2.1% last year. Lack of educational materials in Odia and the use of English as a medium of instruction are seen as factors. In addition, teachers are not qualified to teach science students in Odia, putting students at a disadvantage. Without Odia language textbooks, students have struggled to prepare adequately for the exams, needing to keep up with medical, biology and chemistry terminologies that they have previously studied in English.

NCHM Counselling 2023: Round 1 seat allotment result declared on nchmcounselling.nic.in
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has released the Round-I seat allotment result for NCHM Counselling 2023. Candidates who have applied for M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration 2023 can download their provisional allotment letter containing personal details, rank details, and allotment details. They must confirm their seats and submit seat acceptance payment. Candidates must visit nchmcounselling.nic.in, enter their roll number and password to check the seat allotment result. They must take a printout of the result for future use.
