Africa-Asia Preparation Trip to Dakar
Last month, some of us visited Dakar (Senegal) to prepare for the upcoming Africa-Asia 3: A New Axis of Knowledge (AA3) ConFest (in 2025). We met with our local partners, Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) and Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and explored potential festival venues and community-based collaborators. HAB Academic Director Aarti Kawlra shares some of her photographs and provides a small window into Dakar's academic and cultural landscape.
 
Documentary 
Indigo as Pedagogy Field School (2024)
A short documentary (11 min.) about this five-day field school where faculty, communities of practice and students from Africa and Asia collaborated in the co-production of knowledge about indigo.
