Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched its second-generation foldable phone, the X Fold2, which features a 120Hz AMOLED inner and outer display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 50MP triple camera system, and is available for pre-order starting at CNY8,999 ($1,380). The phone is thinner and lighter than the previous model, and Vivo claims its hinge has undergone rigorous testing and can withstand 400,000 folding cycles. The X Fold2 runs on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 and has a 4800mAh battery.
