Weather Update: Due to the blooming in North India for the last several days, it was being speculated that soon the cold will depart from the country, but tomorrow i.e. on Friday, the weather once again changed its turn. In fact, there was heavy rain in many parts of Delhi NCR last evening. During this time the wind speed was also high, due to which once again the cold has started tormenting the people in the capital.
In many areas including Dwarka, Uttam Nagar in Delhi, there was hailstorm along with heavy rain last night. Although the IMD had already expressed the fear of this change in the weather. According to the Meteorological Department, the reason for this rain is Western Disturbance, due to which the weather of the capital changed and there was heavy rain on Friday evening and night. At the same time, according to IMD, there may be light rain here today i.e. on Saturday and it will feel cold during the day. The weather will clear from Sunday.
Light rain in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a Western Disturbance over parts of North India, due to which light rain may occur in Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh today. Also, due to this disturbance, south-westerly winds will move, due to which there is a possibility of cloudy sky in Odisha and Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh today. Cloud cover may remain over the states of East and Northeast India. Due to which it is expected that the weather can be active here during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, rain may also occur in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the south today.
rain in hilly areas
If IMD is to be believed, due to western disturbances, there may be rain on the hilly areas of North India today. In Jammu and Kashmir, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds in the border areas including Srinagar, Gulmarg, Kulgam, Qazigund, Pahalgam to Katra, Udhampur.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of bad weather even today after rain in the adjoining part of Nepal from Uttarkashi to Almora, Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand. In the low-lying areas, there will be clouds in Hrishikesh and Haridwar, Nainital but the possibility of rain is quite work. Rain is also forecast in Gilgit, Baltistan and from Muzaffarabad to Ladakh.
