Samantha who was last seen in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise, has a number of big budget projects in pipeline and one of the them is a women centric movie Yashoda. The upcoming drama also has young and talented Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan who is on cloud nine as he was roped in to play a major role in the multilingual film. Now according to the latest update, a massive Rs 3 Cr set for Samantha starrer Yashoda has been erected. A lavish seven star Hotel set is erected that will play an important role in this film.
The makers of Yashoda have already announced that the upcoming multilingual drama would be a female-oriented one and will be directed by the duo Hari and Harish. It is set to release in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Samantha has already attained pan-India attention with her magnificent role in the Hindi web drama 'The Family Man 2' co starring Manoja Bajpayee and Priyamani, and with 'Yashoda' which is touted as a thriller, she is setting a stage for expanding her fan base. Mani Sharma and M Sukumar are on board to handle the music and cinematography departments respectively.
On the otherside, Samantha will also be seen in another women centric film Shaakuntalam.
